Sony Ericsson Open completes another successful tournament using Trust Event Solutions' Volunteer Management Software

The 2012 ATP Tour Sony Ericsson Open concluded on April 1st with Djokovic winning the Men's Singles Championship and Agnieszka Radwanska taking the Women's crown. For the 4th year in a row Trust Event Solutions' Volunteer Management Software successfully registered and managed over 750 volunteers and over 450 Ball Kids. Area and shift assignments together with tournament wide communication was streamlined by the TRUST software.

The Sony Ericsson Open set an all-time attendance record for the fifth time in six years with 326,131 guests visiting the Tennis Center at Crandon Park over the last two weeks. The event boasted a record 14 session sellouts and set five session attendance records.

This year the Sony Ericsson Open took the social media community by storm hosting several contests on its social media channels, Twitter and Facebook interviews with many of the game’s top players, and posting exclusive videos and photos. The event is the first tennis event outside of the Grand Slams with more than 100,000 likes while its twitter page has now surpassed 17,000 followers.
